Our Accountability

Today, Alaska has one of the highest violent crime rates in the nation. Victims for Justice is the only nonprofit organization in Alaska serving victims of crimes other than domestic violence and sexual assault. These crimes include robbery, assault, arson, homicide and many more.

Despite this, we operate on a modest budget comprised of State, Federal and Municipal grants as well as community contributions. Last year approximately $24,000 went directly to victims to cover emergency support expenses. Many of the services and supports we provide rely on community contributions and volunteers. Thank you to those who choose to be part of our organization and part of providing vital supports in our community.

Board Meetings are open to the public and are currently held via Teams. Please email info@victimsforjustice.org if you are interested in attending.
