Keeping Up To Date With Your Case

If you are a victim of crime, or are a close relative of someone who has died as a result of a crime, then you are entitled to information and updates about your case. Victims for Justice can assist you in directing you to avenues to keep up with the proceedings.

VineWatch – Notification of Court Case Information

If you are the victim or a witness in a court case, you can register to receive VineWatch notifications on court hearings. YOU MUST CONTACT THE PARALEGAL HANDLING THE CASE IN ORDER TO REGISTER.

VineLink  – Notification of offender’s custody status

Victims have the ability to call a toll-free number, visit vinelink.com, or use the VINELink mobile app to anonymously check on an offender’s custody status. Victims can also register to receive automated notifications about changes in custody status via their choice of delivery method: in-app, phone, email, or text. Read this brochure for a further explanation of VineWatch and phone numbers for the District Attorney Offices.  TTY (hearing impaired) service is also available.  

CourtView Online system for public access to court process

Public access to look up court cases by case number, name, or ticket/citation #.  Courtview allows the public to see what criminal or civil lawsuits in which a person has been involved.  For criminal cases, you can review  

  • Party Information – information concerning the defendant;  
  • Party Charge Information – charges against the defendant;  
  • Events – list of hearings with date, time, location, type, result and event Judge;  
  • Docket Information – Date, Description, and Docket Text (abbreviated notes of what occurred).
